The Chef
​Chef Jon Augsondthung, originally from Bangkok, Thailand, has spent over 20 years honing his craft in the culinary world. After moving to the United States in 2020, he began his journey in the vibrant culinary scene of Miami, where he was exposed to diverse flavors and cooking styles. His creative and refined approach to cooking let him to explore new an exciting ways of reimagining classic dishes, and it was during his studies with a Japanese ramen master instructor that he developed a passion for perfecting the art of ramen.

His expertise, combined with his unique perspective, was shaped the soul of Yoko San Ramen. Chef Jon's philosophy is simple: bring the best of both worlds together — the traditions of Japan and the influence of his Southeast Asian roots — to create bold, flavorful, and unforgettable bowls of ramen.
